HIHI, the Huntington Interfaith

Homeless Initiative, begins

its seventh season December 1,

running until March 31.

Our KSS nights staffing HIHI at Temple

Beth El are Wednesday, December

14 and Wednesday, February 8.

Our jobs include setting up;

preparing,

serving,

and

cleaning up supper; chaperoning

from 7 to 10 pm; overnight chaperoning;

preparing, serving, and

cleaning up breakfast; making

bag lunches; and schlepping the

laundry to All-in-One cleaners

and paying that bill. Our guests

are between 18 and 30 day laborers

who are homeless and camp

out in the woods near the train

station.
